A Venetian Isles angler caught a truck — or at least a redfish that won him a 2013 Chevy Silverado — during a Wednesday fishing trip to Chef Pass, the Coastal Conservation Association Louisiana said.

Hieu Doan landed the tagged 21-inch red as part of the CCA's STAR Tournament. He weighed and certified that catch at Rigolets Bait and Seafood, CCA said.

Doan has been a member of the Delta Chapter since 2012.

This is actually the second tagged redfish caught during the STAR: The first was landed by Baton Rouge's Kenneth Guidry in Fourchon on the opening weekend.

However, Guidry donated the truck back to CCA Louisiana to give away again.

There are 48 tagged redfish still swimming in coastal waters of the state, with 2110 Sport Nautic Star boat packages still up for grabs. So it's not too late to get registered.

STAR lasts all summer and ends on Labor Day (Sept. 2).
