Big Bass Photo Contest cranks up

Users can win monthly Sportsman Gear packages for posting photos of big bass.

Springlike weather has already settled in to much of the state, and that means it’s just a matter of time before sow bass begin initiating spawning activity. Caney Lake, Toledo Bend, the Atchafalaya Basin, Lake Cataouatche. The spawn is on the way. That means chunks are going to be caught around the state, and there’s no better way to track your spawn-fishing season than by posting photos of your catches on the 2012 Big Bass Photo Contest.

Site users will choose monthly winners by voting on their favorite photo from among a selection of images chosen each month by site administrators.
