Monthly Sportsman Gear up for grabs!
Deer hunting begins Oct. 1 throughout the state, and there’s no better way to create lasting memories of your hunts than by videoing time in the stands.
And now you can also compete for monthly prizes by uploading your deer-hunting vids to the LouisianaSportsman.com Deer Video Contest.
“Everyone just love to watch a kid kill his first deer or someone stalking a big buck and putting the smackdown on a deeer,” the site’s Andy Crawford said. “The Deer Video Contest is a way to let all of our users enjoy your hunts while competing for Sportsman prizes.”

Video contest participants will compete for monthly prizes, with each winner earning a free one-year subscription to Louisiana Sportsman magazine and a $25 gift coupon to the online Sportsman Store.
Entering vids into the contest is easy: Just uploaded the video to Youtube, Vimeo or your favorite video-hosting Web site and paste the vid’s embed code from those hosting sites into the appropriate field within the contest form.
The only requirement for the contest is that entrants be registered users of LouisianaSportsman.com.
