Greg Hackney has spent a lot of time poking around the marshes that will host the 50 Bassmaster Classic competitors next week, and he's pumped about the potential for the world championship.

Hackney took some time this week to discuss with LouisianaSportsman.com how he sees the 2011 edition of the Classic shaking out. And he believes on-the-water adjustments will determine who rises to the top.

View the attached video to hear what he has to say about the event, which is scheduled for Feb. 18-20 in New Orleans.

Anglers fishing the Classic will launch daily from Bayou Segnette State Park, and weigh-ins will be held each afternoon in the New Orleans Arena near the Superdome.

There also will be an outdoor expo held in connection with the Classic.
