Bass pro Iaconelli to appear on QVC

Hunters across the state schedule their vacation time to coincide with the rut, but what are bucks really doing? Is the rut the best time to be in the woods?

Bassmaster pro angler Mike Iaconelli will appear on QVC on Friday to showcase a network-exclusive LaserLure fishing kit. This marks the first time the shopping network has featured a pro angler.

Iaconelli will appear between 9 a.m. and noon on the Great Gifts segment.

The LaserLure kit being hockec by Iaconelli sells for $34.99, and will include two of Iaconelli’s Signatures Series LaserLure crank baits, a Plano tackle box and a letter from Mike Iaconelli.

The lures’ special color, Ike’s Beatdown, was the used by Iaconelli that put him in second place in the 2009 Bassmaster Classic in Shreveport.

The lures in the kit are a floating jerkbait and a deep-diving crankbait to allow anglers to cover a broad spectrum of the water column.

LaserLure based in Shreveport, Louisiana, offers the only lures that use a real laser light to help attract strikes.  LaserLure baits work for both fresh and saltwater species.  These water activated lures are highly detailed with 3D eyes and Mustad red triple grip hooks.  “I am thrilled at the opportunity to bring the incomparable patented LaserLure to the QVC audience.  QVC only chooses a limited number of products to showcase each year and we are honored to be selected”, said Mike Lopez, National Sales Manager for LaserLure.

QVC is based in West Chester Pennsylvania and is a multinational corporation specializing in televised home shopping.  QVC broadcast to over 141 million consumers daily.  QVC is available on most cable systems and satellite channels and can be found live at www.qvc.com.
