The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has opened a previously closed portion of the Muddy Bayou Road on the Dewey Wills Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Lasalle Parish.
The portion of the road that is now open extends from Saline Bayou to Nolan Bayou Road. The temporary road closure was implemented to make necessary repairs to the road that was damaged by floodwaters.
WMA users are reminded to consult the hunting regulations pamphlet or the local LDWF office for rules and regulations pertaining to WMA vehicle use.
