Closure will start at 9 a.m. Tuesday until further notice, LDWF says
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries announced that Elmer’s Island will close in advance of Tropical Storm Gordon starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The closure is a precautionary measure due to the projected path of the storm, and the island will remain closed until further notice.
