Overturned 12-foot boat discovered near Highway 11 bridge, LDWF says
Search crews are currently looking for possible missing anglers after a 12-foot flat boat was discovered overturned Tuesday morning near the Highway 11 bridge in Lake Pontchartrain.
Enforcement agents with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries recovered an ice chest and other debris near the boat, according to a press release.
Crews with the New Orleans Police Department, the U.S. Coast Guard, the Louisiana State Police and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office are participating in the search.
