What could be the largest typical buck ever killed in Mississippi was downed Wednesday — and it came on one of the state's wildlife management areas.
Josh Clark killed the deer that has been green scored as high as 205 inches during a draw hunt on Canemount WMA near Port Gibson, Miss.
The current state-record typical taped out at 184 6/8 inches. That deer was killed in 2010 by James Saunders in Adams County.
