Reds, Trout and Flounder eating up Matrix Shad

Capt. Kris, Tristan, Steve and I made a nice trip to the river Wed. Afternoon. We were greeted with a perfect falling tide. We were armed with Matrix Shads on a 3/8oz golden eye jig head and a Golden eye 1/4 oz spinner and went to town on nice reds and trout and one big flounder. We had to work the reds a little to manage a limit but once we found them it was on. Fun day with a lot of action.
As far as the trout go as we have been running out to Lake Borgne and mauling the trout on the islands and rigs. Our Captains caught limits 2 out of 3 days on 12-20' trout deep in Lake Borgne this week. When the winds are light they are chasing the trout in the open water and when winds kick up we have been going to the interiors looking for reds.
