Beat the Heat Trout Slam 8-4-12
Jack Selman, Logan Selman, and Logan Disotel from Arkansas joined me on the big Bluewave to beat the heat and slam the trout!! The trout were hungry and waiting, as we had them flying over the gunnels as soon as the engine stopped. Hefty trout 16-19 inchs coming in two at a time on our doubled rigged plastics. Matrix Shad, Cocodrie Cocahoes, and TTF KFM's continue to dominate as they do everyday in Dularge. Avocado still leading the way as the best color, with the East Beast KFM's, and CoCo pepper following. A slow steady retrieve was the ticket as the fish were holding at 1-3 ft below the surface. Sure is nice and cool at night, with not a bead of sweat falling!!! A grand time fishing with you guys. Thank you.
