Got out on the water about 3 days ago with another 25MPH south east wind. Headed out towards the sound for speckled trout in the morning and put some beefy trouts in the box before the wind started blowing and stirred the water up to brown and bite tappered off. We hit a couple lo-cals offshore before it got too rough... picked up some very thick drum before we decided to take it inshore. Worked points off of the canal for redfish and trout and ended up putting a nice box together. Both Zach and CG caught their biggest fish ever, I always love to hear that. And for Zach it was also his first big red. Ended up with about 40 fish, mixed reds, drum, and trout. Fun guys to fish with, hope to get to really lay the hammer down on the trout with them one day when the winds are not howling.
