A big-bore revolver hog hunt
The .454 Casull is a bear to shoot, even through the barrel of a big Super Redhawk. I was sitting on an East Texas pipeline, cradling my 7 1/2-inch Ruger Super Redhawk in my lap, watching a pile of corn that had been scattered about the area and trampled with hundreds of hog tracks.

My hand cannon was stuffed with 335-grain hard-cast bullets in .454 Casull, a potent enough load in itself, but this went the extra step. These rounds were manufactured by Cor-Bon — a company that found its niche in the ammunition market by producing ammo that pushed the envelope.
Surface drives are fishing boats too
Surface drive engines have almost replaced traditional long-tailed mud motors in just the few years they have been available Boats equipped with surface drive engines were not long ago seen as an oddity in anything but duck-hunting situations.
No more.
Best turkey-hunting loads and chokes
In an effort to develop habitat that attracts turkeys and promotes conservation, Atkins plants chufa peanut-like tubor. Turkeys are big birds, so tight patterns from shotguns and hard-hitting loads are imperative. Shots can range from point blank to out to 50 yards in some cases.
